Files brauchen nun ~130mb statt 105mb =/
Seit heute, also dem Änderungstag, is also kein Upload von da o0
Klingt irgendwie alles doof, was FF da veranstaltet.
FileFactory DOESN'T want to pay - Page 12
FileFactory DOESN'T want to pay - Page 10 => keine Mirror Regel mehr
Und dann das hier gerade gelesen:
We have created a commission only payment program now, and if you'd like to become part of it you can email us. You cannot join this automatically yet, and it's not currently advertised, but it does exist. The commission rate will be 50 - 60% depending on the kind of sales you're generating.
Dürfte interessant für die FF Nutzer sein.
jop, mirror links sind erlaubt
bzw

jtzt is Deutschland in Gruppe B und 105mb Files gehen nichtmehr :p
Also 6$ Gruppe =(^^
hi
ZitatAlles anzeigenOn the 22nd of December, one of our download servers (ff07d03.filefactory.com) suffered a catastrophic hardware failure which, despite our best efforts, has caused some data loss. If you are reading this page and see files listed below, these files have unfortunately been lost due to this issue, and will need to be re-uploaded as they are unrecoverable.
We take matters like this very seriously, and although we have several layers of protection in place to prevent this from happening (both software and hardware), due to a freak coincidence, our preventative measures were not sufficient to prevent data loss in this case.
On a somewhat technical level, here is what happened. Our servers are set up with redundant hard drives in each array which can take over in the event that one of the regular hard drives fails. In this case though, not only did a regular drive fail, but the spare failed as well - which prevented us from accessing any of the other data on the remaining drives in the array because they relied on at least one of those other drives being functional. On top of this redundancy, we also split our larger arrays into smaller segments, each of which is able to sustain a single drive fail at any given time - but it just so happened that both of these drive failures were on the same array segment.
Moving forward from this, we will be rethinking our storage strategy and coming up with more redundant solutions for our members. We will be improving our monitoring system to try to detect these sort of errors before they reach the point of failure, and we will, of course, be verifying the integrity of all of our existing drives immediatley.
We have extended all Premium accounts affected by this issue by 3 months as a token of apology - we know that this does not restore your data, but we hope that it goes a small way in showing you how sorry we are that we were unable to prevent this failure from occurring.
Schade, dass ich keinen Prem hab =( :p
hi
How long is a file stored at FileFactory?
We host files indefinitely, if they are continually downloaded. Files are automatically deleted in the following ways:
PREMIUM ACCOUNTS
If you have a Premium account, your files remain on our servers as long as your Premium account remains active. If you have a Premium account and your account expires, the files in your account will be subject to the 90 day rule, so some of your files may be deleted if they have received no downloads and you have not renewed your account. Therefore it is very important to keep your account up to date.
FREE ACCOUNTS
If you have created a free account, your files will remain on our servers for 90 days from the time of upload of a particular file. If a file has been downloaded at least one before the end of the first 90 day period, it will remain for another 90 days. If a file is not downloaded at all after 90 days, it will then be automatically removed. In order to protect your files from deletion we recommend that you upgrade to a Premium account if your files are important to you.
ANONYMOUS UPLOADS
If you upload a file anonymously, and the file is not downloaded within 7 days, it will automatically be removed. If a file has been downloaded at least once, it will remain on our servers for at least another 7 days. If there are no downloads after that within 7 days, it will be deleted. If a file is downloaded at least once every 7 days, it will remain on our servers indefinitely until it is no longer popular.

The new Rewards program applies to all files uploaded after 1 April 2011. Files uploaded before that date will no longer earn Rewards.
